Double Chocolate Orange Cookies (Paleo, GF, Dairy Free)
I’ve been really loving fruit and chocolate lately and one of my favorite combinations is chocolate and orange! I have been wanting to make these cookies for some time now and finally got around to it and they did not disappoint! The flavors are just delicious together and I definitely ate several at a time.
Everyone in my family loved these cookies so much, even my baby! He couldn’t get enough. Most people won’t be able to pinpoint the orange flavor in them, but will notice an elevated taste in them- it’s the orange!
Using the finest almond flour you can find will keep almond flour cookies from tasting “grainy.” I know that texture is bothersome to some folks! There are tons of options online as well as in stores, so grab up the finest you can find. I am also going to try blending or food processing my almond flour before baking and see if that makes a difference.
